On Friday, the police shot a man because they thought he was a terrorist. Later they said that he wasn't connected with the previous days attempted bombings. The Media seems to have completely twisted this around. I think the man deserved it. He could have ran anywhere but instead he jumped over a barrier in a railway station and ran onto a train. After what happened the day before he was obviously asking for trouble when he did that. He could have ran through the street around buildings, anywhere. Instead though he behaved like perhaps a terorist would if they wanted to blow themselves up and they were been prevented. The man only has hisself to blame. The plice also asked him to stop. If he can't understand police instructions because his English is that bad, then what the fuck was he doing in a country where English is the predominant language. This country is too tollerent and we need to ban people from intigrating into society if they can't speak English.

You really are an imbecile and yet again you are NOT in possession of all the facts...Mr Meneses spoke FLUENT English. The poor fecker ran, due to being brought up Sau Paulo, which is a poverty striken area of Brazil, riddled with gun crime..Ohh now we are an expert on terrorism I must restrain myself from praising your ignorance...exactly how does a terrorist behave hmm?..you really are ..no to call you pathetic would be a compliment and someone with your cretinous level of ignorance, is not worthy of such a prestigious acolade.

And it would have made little difference where the poor sod ran to,as these marksman are trained to pursue and fire in all types of situations. By running he signed his own death warrant, he did NOT behave like a terrorist, they in all likelihood would have blown themselves to pieces rather than be shot by the police..

Ok well let’s hold on the personal insults now shall we – the reality is that the police are damned if they do, and damned if they don’t. The man in question spoke English fluently, therefore he would have been well aware that the people pursuing him were police, as they made this fact abundently clear. However, he continued to run, and valted over a barrier at the underground station and attempted to board a train. Now police don’t just go around shooting innocent people for the hell of it, we don’t yet know what it is, but they would have had reason to believe this individual was a potential terrorist. It has now turned out that he was in this country illegally, apparently he came over here on a student visa and when that expired he just didn’t leave the country, there is some speculation that that is the reason he ran from the police, because in brazille illegal immigrants are routinely shot. Now I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the guy deserved it, but in the current climate, anyone should know that the police are likely to be extra cautious, let’s not forget that the types of terrorists they are dealing with here are suicide bombers, people who can detonate devices with which to kill themselves and hundreds of other innocent people. In an ideal world, police intelligence would be flawless, and only the guilty would be brought to justice, however, sometimes things go wrong, and sometimes innocent people are caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Reality is, there was fault on both sides. The intelligence was flawed, however, the suspect should have stopped when asked repeatedly to do so. If that man had had a bomb on him the police would have been haled as heroes, if they had failed to shoot him and he’d been carrying a bomb they would have been slated for not acting quickly enough. Either way, the police can’t win.

Absolutely Sugarbaby. Oh and Goblin, I didn't say he couldn't speak English, I said if he couldn't which is different than making any assumption that he coudln't. Anyway, that out of the way, I'm sorry to inform you Goblin, and I realise this may cause you a lot of distress, but ... now I want you to be prepared for this terrible news, ... People get killed sometimes. Now This guy increased his chances of getting killed when one day after the underground was almost bombed, he decided to run onto a train. It is very understandable that the police would assume he was a terrorist after he did that. How many criminals when running from the police jump over barriers in railway stations and onto trains? not many. A terrorist thought may do that in order to blow itself up. I'm not an expert in how terrorists may behave, but somethings are just blatantly obvious if common sense is applied.

Shoot6ing a man 7 times in the head is barbaric, what the fuck was wrong with using a taser or some other stun device..Mr De Menezes was murdered and the pathetic apology of sorry by the police is a nothing more than a callous insult....

And I quote We need to ban people from intergrating in to society if they can't speak english..does that include ignorant bigots like yourself who are incapable of putting forth a well thought out, reasonable argument, instead of coming across as a rabid member of the BNP.
